Functions of the Pump Shaft

1. Transmit power

   Transfer torque from the motor or engine to the impeller, driving the impeller to rotate at high speed.
2. Support rotating components

   Support the impeller, shaft sleeve, coupling and other parts to ensure stable rotation.
3. Ensure concentricity and operational accuracy

   Control radial and axial runout to avoid vibration, wear and abnormal noise.
4. Bear loads

   Withstand centrifugal force, radial force and axial thrust generated during rotation.
5. Coordinate with sealing components

   Cooperate with mechanical seals and stuffing boxes to prevent leakage of the medium inside the pump.
